This policy explains how Nuclear Kin Group Pty Ltd (ABN 88 611 782 631) (“we”, “us”), publisher of bookkeepingstack.com, handles personal information. We aim to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
- When you email us: your email address, name and anything you include in your message.
- When you visit the site: our web host and our content delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps in server and security logs.
- Cookies: the site uses essential cookies needed for it to work and to be secure. We don’t currently run advertising cookies. If we add analytics or affiliate tracking, we’ll update this policy first.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and keep a record of the correspondence
- To run, secure and improve the website
- To meet legal obligations
Affiliate links and third-party sites
Links to vendors take you to their websites, which have their own privacy policies. If we join affiliate programs in future, a vendor or affiliate network may set its own cookies when you click a tracked link so it can attribute a sign-up. We’ll name those networks here when that happens.
Disclosure and overseas transfer
We don’t sell personal information. Our service providers (for example web hosting, Cloudflare and Microsoft for email) may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use reputable providers and only share what’s needed to provide the service.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep email correspondence only as long as we need it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing [email protected]. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
